The Verdanza Hotel takes pride in its culinary team of Puerto Rican professionals, led by Damián Hernandez, Chef de Cuisine, honored as the 2011 Puerto Rico Restauranteur of the Year. Chef Damián is the youngest Executive Chef of a full service hotel in Puerto Rico's San Juan Metropolitan Area, a well as the youngest to be featured - alongside international culinary celebrities - in Puerto Rico's annual culinary festival, Saborea Puerto Rico.
